THE WESTKNITS SHAWL BAG

We are so happy to finally be able to offer our collaboration with Westknits on our website!

 

This year, Stephen West and Joji put their heads together and designed The Shawl Bag, a leather project bag to carry 6 or 7 skeins of yarn for your colorful Westknits shawl WIPs.

 

The side gussets are tapered for a more narrow base and wider opening, so the bag can sit next to you in your favorite knitting nook. There's a flap pocket inside for your needles and notions. 

 

Stephen got inspired by yarn color palettes that he often features in his shawl designs and yarn kits, so you can collect a coordinating bag for your favorite Westknits shawl!

 

The front and back of the bag are worked in Pebbled leather, and gussets and pockets are made using Slate Gray suede. Made by hand, one by one with hand-painted edges. 100% locally sourced materials and beautiful workmanship as we proudly offer every time.

 

Dimensions:

8.5" / 21cm tall, 9" / 23cm wide, 3.75" / 9.5cm deep at the base, 11" / 28cm deep at the top opening from handle to handle when the bag is open.
The inner flap pocket is about 6.5" / 16.5cm wide x 5" / 13cm tall.
